Who dresses Joel McHale? Because he was looking smokin’ hot in The Soup April 3. That crisp white shirt and the very stylish stripy skinny tie. Joel McHale was one sexy host tonight. Yummy.
Best line of tonight’s episode: “He’s clearly cheating“, Joel when referring to a clip from the Tyra show about a couple who eat donuts after doing it in a public place.
And of course we learn about how Ryan sold his soul to the Devil, oh no wait, that’s right he is the devil, um, no, that’s the Prince of Shortness. Or something. Whatever, we know that McHale can’t get through one episode of The Soup without making a joke about Ryan Seacrest. Is that called stalking?
Special guest this week was Anil Kapoor from Slumdog Millionaire who was really great and very funny. Funniest moment was when he didn’t know what to do after his segment was over and at first stayed there while Joel started doing Reality Show Clip Time but then left abruptly – the look on McHale’s face was priceless.
Other highlights of this episode was the awkward moment when Oprah was interviewing a group of clones, er, I mean, wives from a polygamous religious community about their taste in fashion, and of course The Soup Wife Swap Bacon incident when the kid from one of the Wife Swap families decided to leave home because he wanted his bacon dang it.
