Joel McHale is currently in Australia for the Sydney Comedy Festival and was scheduled to do one stand up show at The Factory on Saturday 25th April – 8pm.
Within hours of his announcement on The Soup Sunday night (The Soup air’s Sunday nights in Australia) his 8pm Australia show was already sold out.
The Sydney Comedy Festival scheduled another show at 9.45pm and some lucky fans (me included) were able to get tickets to that show, however now that too has been sold out (after only a day and a half).
At this stage there won’t be any more shows scheduled which I’m sure will disappoint a lot of fans (many people are writing to message boards asking for spare tickets) but we can always hope that he’ll be back in a few months time.
I wonder if Joel McHale himself knew just how popular he is here? Looks like we are in for a great show.
