Well this past week it seems that we now know why Joel McHale is in Sydney Australia right now – he’s hiding from Mickey Rourke!
Rourke was at a recent premiere of his new movie The Informers when he let burst with this about Joel:
Who’s the guy who made fun of my dog? Motherfu***r! Who’s that guy, Joel McCrae? He’s going to get a slap in the face, that ain’t right. If you see him, tell him he’s gonna get a slap in the face.
Of course, he was referring to what Joel said on a recent Soup episode about his dead dog Loki:
Many say it was a pretty gay friendly Oscars (and) we think it could have been even gay friendly, here’s how … a tribute to Mickey Rourke’s chihuahua.
Obviously Rourke hasn’t ever seen a Soup episode and doesn’t really have a clue about what was said or even who really said it. Someone has told him that a joke was made about his dog and he has seen red without checking the facts.
Of course, in true Joel McHale fashion, Joel has made a comeback which we’ve got here in this video. All I can say is .. love the outfit Joel.
